Milliken introduces two new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) collections: 'All About Wood' and 'All About Stone.' They bring together the beauty of nature and biophilic design with the practicality and functionality of LVT. They are designed to suit a wide variety of interior settings, including offices, retail spaces, hospitality environments, educational facilities and residential areas. They provide exceptional durability, quieter floors, and ease of maintenance.

In a first for LVT flooring, each tile has a unique reference and digital passport making it fully traceable. This helps building occupants maintain awareness of product content and material health throughout the whole life cycle, maximising reuse and recycling potential when the floor is replaced. The collections are accredited with supporting well-being and safety, qualifying as low slip risk on the UK’s pendulum test safety rating, and providing industry leading acoustics with 19dB impact sound reduction.

There are five distinct designs in the All About Wood collection (French Oak, Vintage Oak, White Oak, Nordic Oak and Chevron) that showcase the enduring elegance of natural wood. They provide the aesthetic appeal and traditional elegance of wood, combined with the advantages of contemporary performance and practicality, resulting in an ideal integration of style and functionality. The warm and rich colour range (includes shell, blond, golden, cocoa, natural, honey, caramel and rye) reflects a move away from cooler greys to a preference for warm colours.

The designs provide timeless beauty and classic charm, warmth, and character. They range from traditional to minimalist, offering a serene and subtle appeal. These designs are both versatile and contemporary. French Oak and Vintage Oak are available in 20 x 100cm planks, reflecting traditional timber industry dimensions for an authentic look. White Oak, Nordic Oak and Chevron are available in a large format metric plank size of 25 x 100cm, replicating the appearance of premium timber sourced from large Oak tree species. Chevron provides on trend herringbone styling, with less waste and speed of installation thanks to the large size format.

Milliken’s All About Stone LVT collection features four individual designs (Beton Ciré, Ceppo Grande, Terrazzo and Terrazzo Grande) each inspired by the natural beauty and sophistication of stone. The range can help to elevate an interior with its sense of timeless elegance. The stone designs, celebrate the natural beauty of raw materials combined with the craftsmanship of the maker. Milliken’s All About Stone collection offers complete modular flexibility and is available as 500mm x 1000mm slab sizes. The four complementary stone designs can be mixed and matched and are designed to work together with Milliken’s extensive modular carpet offerings.

LVT is known for its durability and resistance to scratches, stains, and water. As a result, it is suitable for high-traffic areas and environments where spills may occur. The collections feature micro scratch and stain resistance, offering a durable appearance and reduced maintenance costs due to advanced Proguard Max UV cured coatings technology. LVT is easier to install than other sheet flooring, cutting labour costs and time, and the 5mm thick Loose Lay format enables installation over raised access flooring, providing full modular flexibility, ease of uplift and replacement.

Both collections offer superior acoustic benefits, enhancing sound insulation for a quieter, more comfortable environment with 19dB sound absorption. The Micro Bevel design reduces dirt accumulation, thereby facilitating easier cleaning. The embossed surface enhances safety by minimising the risk of slipping, even under wet conditions.

The new LVT collections have notable sustainability credentials: they are manufactured using bio based soya oil and are Phthalate-free REACH compliant, they allow for glue-free installation through the use of IOBAC Tab-IT (contributing to improved indoor air quality) and ease of reuse and recycling with a digital passport for traceability.
