Milliken Floors Europe is pleased to announce they will take part in Clerkenwell Design Week, which will be held from the 19th to the 21st of May 2026.
This year sees the 15th edition of the celebrated design event and Milliken has been a showroom partner every year since the event’s inception. The event is hosted across multiple venues in the Clerkenwell District of London. An area known as a creative hub, home to hundreds of design and architecture practices as well as hundreds more showrooms showcasing the best in furniture, accessories and surfaces for the commercial interiors sector.

Katie Treggiden To Speak At CDW 2026
As part of Milliken’s three days of events in their showroom Katie Treggiden will host a thought leadership session on the evening of Tuesday 19th May, bringing together experts on re-use to see what can be learned from other industries and sectors. Katie is an author, journalist and communications strategist on a mission to share true stories of imperfect progress towards genuine sustainability. With 25+ years’ experience, she has written six books on craft, design and sustainability and countless articles for newspapers and magazines from The Guardian to Dezeen. She is a qualified Marketeer with a master’s in History of Design from Oxford University. She is a Design Council Expert, BioLeadership Fellow and Homes & Gardens’ ‘Eco-Champion Thought Leader.’
Milliken has consistently promoted the re-use of its carpet tiles over recent years, implementing manufacturing processes and selecting materials that facilitate both recycling and re-use. At CDW 2026 Milliken will be running participatory workshops focused on promoting practical approaches to re-use.

Commemorating 40 Years of Manufacturing In the UK
The year 2026 marks a significant milestone for Milliken, as the company commemorates 40 years of manufacturing flooring products in the United Kingdom. Milliken’s Clerkenwell showroom will be transformed into an exhibition space that highlights the company's distinguished history in UK manufacturing and features displays showcasing its collections through the years.

During the 2026 Clerkenwell Design Week, Milliken will introduce new product launches, including the carpet tile collections ‘Open Studio’ and ‘Quiet Statement.’ At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to preview these collections and participate in creative workshops dedicated to each.
It’s also a chance to visit the only showroom in Clerkenwell to have achieved the prestigious WELL Platinum Certification. This certification, awarded to Milliken’s London showroom by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), recognises buildings that enhance human health and well-being. Milliken's showroom in Clerkenwell was the first of its kind in the UK to receive this highest level of certification in 2021.
