“Quiet Statement is a collection shaped by my exploration of texture, balance and subtle detail.”
The inspiration began in Marrakesh, where the contrast between old and new architecture is both striking and harmonious. Raw, textured plaster walls and handcrafted finishes sit alongside clean, contemporary forms — unified by a shared honesty of materials.
Tone-on-tone brickwork adds rhythm and structure, and it was this dialogue between past and present that became the foundation for the collection.
With Quiet Statement, the ambition was to create designs that feel composed and understated, yet still have presence. Subtle textures and delicate patterning add depth without overwhelming the space, allowing the floor to support the wider interior rather than dominate it.
Feature designs introduce the opportunity for focal moments — from defined walkways to breakout areas — offering both flexibility and design expression.
Ultimately, Quiet Statement captures a feeling as much as a place — translating the quiet beauty of Marrakesh into tone, texture and thoughtful design.

A collection inspired by architecture and atmosphere
Each design within Quiet Statement builds on this narrative of contrast, texture and restraint:
Maroc
A study in balance between raw and refined. Textured surfaces and precise lines sit in quiet harmony, with tone-on-tone brickwork patterns echoing traditional architecture and introducing rhythm and subtle structure.
Kasbah
Inspired by shifting light across medina architecture. Fragmented sunlight, curved shadows and contrasts between brightness and shade are translated into layered tones and arch-like forms.
Medina
A reflection of movement through narrow streets opening into wider spaces. Pattern and layering create a sense of flow, guiding the eye and shaping the space.
Arabesque
A quiet take on ornament. Flowing geometry and repeating forms soften into texture, creating depth without visual noise.
A colour palette shaped by place
The Quiet Statement colour palette draws directly from the sights and atmosphere of Morocco — where sun-washed neutrals, earthen tones and deep, grounded hues sit in natural harmony.
Each design is offered in complementary light and dark colourways, carefully paired to work together. This approach gives architects and designers the flexibility to build layered, tonal schemes — balancing contrast and cohesion across a space.
Softer, lighter shades bring openness and calm, while deeper tones introduce definition and structure. Used together, they create a sense of rhythm and flow — supporting zoning, wayfinding and moments of focus without relying on bold visual statements.

TractionBack 2.0 is a proprietary high-friction coating applied to the back of Milliken carpet tiles during manufacture. It is engineered to secure the carpet to the floor without the use of wet adhesives. This means it is free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) making it a much cleaner, healthier, and safer method of modular carpet installation that positively considers the well-being of both the installer and the building’s occupants.
TractionBack 2.0 is engineered to secure the carpet to the floor and prevent lateral movement but can also be easily lifted and replaced when required.
