The Mix 30 Under 30 (organised by Mix Interiors) is an annual event, now in its 11th year, celebrating the emerging talent in commercial interior design and architecture across the UK. It celebrates young professionals who are redefining the industry with creativity, innovation and leadership. The programme not only acknowledges individual achievements but also provides a platform for networking, professional growth and visibility within the design community.

Milliken has a long history of supporting up-and-coming designers. For many years the company partnered with Loughborough University; setting a practical design challenge to undergraduate students. And over the last 4 years Milliken have provided an intern programme for one Loughborough student each year.

Kate CollierKate Collier, Senior Marketing Manager at Milliken, commented: “We’re excited to be hosting Mix Interiors and the next generation of design talent in our showroom. We can't wait to meet the winners and celebrate with them.”

The other sponsors for 2026 are: Crown Paints, Optima, Specialist Group and Universal Fibers.

Previous winners include:

Nasim Köerting, The Office Group

“Being nominated was a great confidence boost for me. It meant I was being noticed for the work I was doing and that’s a huge thing for a young designer. It was also a great opportunity to meet other young designers in my field who were passionate and driven.”

Alistair Higgins, Allgood

“This event focuses on the youngsters coming up through the industry. For us, that's critical because we're design-led, we're specification-led and we have to keep that feed of relationships going with younger architects because that's our future.”

Kayleigh Tse, Cirkularis8

“I didn't expect it to happen to me! I've always been a keen collector of Mix Interiors magazine and I didn't think I'd be part of it - really excited.”
